October = Fall fun at Wayne's Market! Here's Finley
and Cooper
me and Campbell, not swinging
and all the boys on a hayride! Can't wait until it's time this year and it's quickly approaching!
For Todd's birthday I surprised him with a weekend away in Cleveland. He had a few restaurants that he had been wanting to get to like Lola and Melt, so we put those on our list along with tickets to see Blue Man Group!!! It was such a fun little getaway!
Hitting this tasty spot had been on Todd's wishlist for a while, FINALLY!
Do not let the unhealthyness of the following picture frighten you, at least he looks happy. I believe this was a monte cristo MELT style and it was a wonderful, once in a blue moon, artery clogging feast!
Halloween Fun: This party was over before it began!
Tricks and Treats, be very afraid! It was so blessed cold that night! Campbell woke up about 20 minutes into begging and I had to run her home, like literally RUN her home, she was freezing and mighty unhappy. The boys, however, were willing to tolerate the chill...anything for CANDY!
Another month caught up! Yay!!!

Getting caught up part 1! September 2010
We planned a fun family weekend as a last hurrah before school started! It began with a wonderful night away for me and Todd at a local B&B and then hiking and a picnic lunch at Mohican!
When Todd and I got back home that afternoon we packed up the kids and surprised them with a trip to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. Our first stop (after a little detour caused by my failing memory and sense of direction) was Young's Jersey Dairy. We ate yummy ice cream, visited with goats
and wore out the “kids”!!!
We drove on until we got to our hotel and woke the next morning to the excitement of finding out the main reason for our mission was to hit the Star Wars display. First stop of the day…well, weapons of course!
They are all BIG fans!
Fans of droids…
and Yoda…
and pretending to be mommy dinosaurs(see we didn’t have to spend the WHOLE day in the Star Wars section)!
At your service!
Tea party!
We topped off a great weekend by going downtown and getting pizza at Bazbeaux. This adorable pic that sat on my lonely blog for 11 months was taken there:
They did have really yummy pizza but our experience looked a little more like this on the other side of the table:
This is Campbell at the end of September, so excited to start horseback riding/hippotherapy! She has since graduated but she loved it!!!
I've definitely gotten rusty at blogging while I was away, it's taken me an accidental delete and two failed uploads on Windows Writer to get this finished! If anyone has any idea how to fix Writer's error 500 message I'd love to hear it!

11 months and...
we're baaaaaaaack! Oh how I've missed blogging and sharing and recording our adventures! I clicked on my blog today after opening my brand new laptop and heard the sweet sounds I've missed so much from my playlist. I have lots to share, and pictures and words in my sidebar to update but that will have to wait, we are packing up for a night of family fun!

Avoiding...
the blog! Not exactly sure why, except that time and patience have been a little hard to come by here! I keep wondering how I had more time last Summer but then I remember that CK wasn't doing things like climbing onto the kitchen counter and painting her own little toes while I showered or overflowing the toilet while I make pasta salad. She's been busy!!!
Some of my favorite things about Summer are that there are substantially fewer socks to wash and mate and that while my kids are most definitely outgrowing their jeans...I do not have to face this reality until a few weeks from now when the weather necessitates us digging them out from their drawers!!!
We've had a very full Summer and lots and lots of fun family time! We got to go on a nice vacation which included beach and mountains, lots of time in the car bonding (ha,ha) and a much needed opportunity to relax and visit with some of our extended family! Most of the Summer for the boys has been spent eating, asking about when they're going to eat next, what they can eat, where they're going to eat and then when I'm going to restock the eats! Now you know what I mean about those jeans...and we're not even close to puberty yet (well, not that I'm admitting to myself anyway)!!!
On a completely different note, my phone died and before it took it's last texts I uploaded all of my cell pictures. These date back to February. Here's a glimpse!!! Mostly I just want to know why the chicken only has one foot!!!
